Bring a stuffed animal from home and drop it off at the library for an overnight campout in the library. Sage the Sasquatch will lead stuffies through a special after-hours library adventure, which will be posted online for families to enjoy. Drop off stuffed animals at the Children’s Corner Ask Here desk between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday, August 12 and pick them up beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 13. (Please be sure it is a stuffie that your child can be without for the night).
Come learn about all the weird things newborns do and get a head start on breastfeeding, safety, family healthcare needs and when to seek help.
The Accessible Egg Hunt is for individuals with disabilities of all ages and their immediate family members (12 years of age and younger). The event is free. A $5 suggested donation per car is encouraged.
The event is located at Shangri-La's Salem Office (4080 Reed Road SE #150). Event entrance is on Fairview Industrial Drive near PhTech Building. Watch for directional signs.
